QA Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading the QA group in support of the software development lifecycle process, change management, testing/QA environments and production releases. The QA Manager will be accountable for QA practices, testing procedures, meeting release/project deadlines and maintaining quality standards. The QA Manager works directly with the Senior QA Manager to oversee all testing efforts and ensure overall product quality and customer expectations are met consistently and in a timely manner. Location Yarmouth, Maine Travel 5-10% Responsibilities Manage QA timelines and testing efforts to meet committed delivery dates. Advise QA staff on appropriate test scope, test case preparation and considerations to meet expectations and commitments. Work with the Release Manager and Product Managers to develop releaseschedules and resource allocation for QA related projects. Manage and respond to software quality assurance issues with related groups such as development, release management, QA and customer support. Anticipate quality issues and take corrective action to resolve issues, escalating as needed. Actively manage code updates to the QA test environments throughout the release testing cycle. Assess reported issues during testing cycles and effectively communicate status and risks to the Senior QA Manager. Establish and implement quality standards/practices to continually improve the QA process in use by the department Manage QA automation tools. Recruit, train and oversee QA staff. Provide manpower and time estimates for all projects assigned to the QA staff. Schedule and lead regular team meetings. Develop and deliver QA Workshops to promote team environment, consistent QA practices and continuing education. Prepare and deliver staff performance reviews, salary adjustments and career development activities. Qualifications BS/BA in Accounting, Computer Science or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, to include 3+ years in a lead role or management position 3-5 years of Munis or related experience a plus Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner Desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability Strong understanding of software development life cycles, software quality assurance processes and automated tools Occasional travel may be required QA certification from accredited organization a plus Requisition Number: 45-18-462

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
