Part-Time Facilities Associate (291263-670)

May perform in one or more of the Administration functions. Under direct supervision and following standard procedures maintains buildings, cafeteria and grounds by performing some or all of the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates and/or performs maintenance and repairs on printers, copiers, and other office equipment throughout the facility, including:
Performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
Changing ink and toner.
Notifying management concerning need for repairs.
Coordinates and/or performs facility maintenance, including:
Making minor and routine repairs to internal and external structure of facilities.
Notifying management concerning need for major repairs.
Removing snow, litter and other items.
Changing light bulbs,
Decorates interior or exterior of company facilities for various holidays.
Keeps office building in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
Cleaning and polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Cleaning conference rooms, hallways, lobby, kitchenettes and other work areas.
Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture.
Dusting furniture and equipment.
Washing windows, door panels, and sills.
Emptying wastebaskets; transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Cleaning restrooms and stocking supplies if needed
4. Provides relief and back up to the Receptionist.
Assist in company fleet vehicle maintenance, repair and disposal, including:
Monitors, coordinates and administers maintenance and repair of company fleet vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, repairs, cleaning, inspections, registrations, removing snow, etc.
6. Assist in tracking and purchasing office, building and printing supplies.
Assist in Preparing, collecting, sorting, and distributing mail, including:
Prepares outgoing mail to ensure most cost-effective means is utilized, while verifying proper rates.
Operates printing and mail processing equipment.
Opens envelopes by hand or machine and sorts mail according to destination and type such as returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments.
Distributes internal and external mail and packages.
Processes routine supply orders and properly receives and records deliveries.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
